Fr. Paul Bechtold, CP, was a member of the Passionist order and the first president of Catholic Theological Union at Chicago.

Bechtold very probably used these notes in writing his history of CTU, Catholic Theological Union at Chicago: The Founding Years, 1965-1975, History and Memoir (1993).
