Historical Note
The Keystone Project was sponsored by the Lilly Endowment and the Bonfils-Stanton Trust and initiated at Keystone, Colorado, in 1997. Ten schools were invited to participate: Aquinas Institute (St. Louis, MO), Catholic Theological Union (Chicago, IL), Mount Angel Seminary (St. Benedict, OR), St. John's School of Theology and Seminary (Collegeville, MN), St. John's Seminary School of Theology (Boston, MA), St. John's Seminary (Camarillo, CA), St. Mary's Seminary and University (Baltimore, MD), St. Paul Seminary (St. Paul, MN), Washington Theological Union (DC), and Weston Jesuit School of Theology (Boston, MA). CTU focused its reports on diversity within the student body of CTU and how to teach theology effectively to this population. This ambitious project required intense involvement by all the faculty.
