Historical Note:
The Chicago Cluster of Theological Schools was formed to foster cooperation among Chicago area graduate schools of theology and ministry. In order to foster the schools policy of cross-registration for courses, the CCTS published a joint catalog of courses from 1971-72 until the 1984-85 school years. Other cooperative programs included networking activities for faculty and administration, and library reciprocal borrowing and interlibrary loan. CCTS included from seven to nine schools during its existence, and transitioned into the Association of Chicago Theological Schools(ACTS), which formed in 1985 and included additional schools in the Chicago area.
