Vice President and Academic Dean records, 1979-2007

Hugh McElwain, O.S.M. was the first Academic Dean, serving from 1968 to 1972. Gilbert Ostdiek, O.F.M. served as the second Academic Dean from 1972 to 1978, and the third Academic Dean was Robert Schreiter, C.P.P.S., who served from 1978 to 1986. Donald Senior, C.P., was acting Dean from 1986 to 1987, and was followed by Thomas McGonigle, O.P., who served as Academic Dean from 1987 to 1992. Kathleen Hughes, R.S.C.J. was the Academic Dean from 1992 to 1995, and Leslie Hoppe, O.F.M., served as acting Dean from 1995 to 1996. Gary Riebe-Estrella, S.V.D. served as Academic Dean from 1996 to 2009. Barbara Reid, O.P. became the Academic Dean in 2009.
