Administrative History:
The first mention of the SEC is found in the CTU Announcements 1969-1970. The Committee is described as a committee of five students elected by the student body at large. It serves as a liaison between student body and administration. It represents the students' viewpoint and interests. The SEC promotes student activities of an academic nature, as well as religious and social. Matters of student discipline affecting the whole school are a responsibility, although not exclusively, of SEC.
The first SEC officers were: P. Johnson (CP), P. Reid (OFM), Mark Amen (OFM), C. Bowens (OSM), and R. Reneau (CP).
