Biographical Information:

Rabbi Hayim Perelmuter was born in Montreal in 1915, and died on January 4, 2001. Rabbi Perelmuter was a professor of Jewish Studies at Catholic Theological Union from 1969 to 2000. Together with Fr. John Pawlikowski, he co-founded the Catholic-Jewish Studies Program.

Arrangement

The collection is divided into three sub-groups, corresponding to three groups of materials that were received concurrently in 2009 under the same accession number (2009-08) and originally described in three separate finding aids. Each sub-group has its own scope and content note, drawn from the original finding aids.
