Historical Note:

The first President of CTU, Paul Ignatius Bechtold, C.P., served from 1968 to 1975. John Pawlikowski, C.P. served as acting President from 1975 until 1976, when Alcuin Coyle, O.F.M. began his service as President, which lasted from 1976 to 1981. John E. Linnan, O.S.V. began serving as President in November of 1981, and remained President until 1987. Donald Senior, C.P. was the next President, serving from 1987 to 1994. Norman Bevan, C.S.S.P. became President in July of 1994, and served until 1997, when Donald Senior C.P. returned as President.
